San Rafael Recreation Aftercare

Lucas Valley Children’s Center offers state-licensed, year-round child care to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The center provides a safe, enriching, and enjoyable atmosphere where school-age children can learn and grow through positive experiences. Our professional staff provides a wide variety of group and individual activities to support and enhance your child’s physical, social and emotional development. Whether you are looking for a part day play experience or full time child care, our center offers a variety of flexible schedules to meet your needs.

Our hours of operation are as follows:
11:30 am – 6:00 pm daily and on non-school days the center is open from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.

Recreation Reimagined

Our Program

The mission of the Recreation Reimagined After-School Program is to provide participants quality care in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Recreation Reimagined Staff: Our staff is highly-trained, energetic, and motivated and our goal is to provide your child with the best after-school experience possible in a fun and safe environment. Every staff member is certified in CPR and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer by the American Red Cross and all staff members have been fingerprinted and undergone a background check.

Program Schedule

The Recreation Reimagined program follows the Miller Creek School District academic schedule. The program begins immediately after students are released (including early dismissal days) and run until 6:00 pm.The program will not run on non-school student days.
