Lucas Valley Elementary School is nestled among the rolling, oak-studded hills of Lucas Valley in Marin County. The neighborhood is well maintained and for the most part housing is of the single-family Eichler design. Lucas Valley Elementary School is one of the four schools within the Miller Creek School District.

Lucas Valley is a K–5 California Distinguished School and was recently named a National Blue Ribbon School. Total student enrollment is approximately 350.

Our teaching staff consists of 16 credentialed instructors, a full-time Resource Specialist, and Speech and Language Pathologist, Psychologist, several instructional assistants assigned to various grades, Counselors, Physical Education, Art, and Music and Movement Specialists, librarians, and a distinguished 3-5 District Music program (Band, Orchestra, and Choir).

We currently have 22 classrooms, a library, art room, MPR, and music room. The campus maintains a wireless network and various play structures that are grade-level specific. We house a beautiful garden with chickens and, vegetables, and fruit trees.

Visiting Lucas Valley Elementary

Lucas Valley has two visitation days a year. There is one in the fall and one in the spring for those who qualify to attend schools in the Miller Creek District or are relocating to the area. Please visit the district website for information on district boundaries and enrollment policies.
