Creek Café- Lunch Program

For the 2021-22 school year, Miller Creek School District will again offer meals every school day to all students at no cost, continuing the district’s efforts to ensure all children receive healthy and nutritious meals especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer healthy meals at no cost. Under the Nationwide Waiver to allow the Seamless Summer Option through school year 2021-22, any student under the age of 18 is eligible for lunch at no cost. Only students that are enrolled and attend school in the Miller Creek School District are eligible for free meals.

  • Meals are not available for siblings or children not enrolled in our district.
  • Curbside meal kits pick-up will no longer be available at Vallecito School.

Please Note: Even with ree meals for the 2021-22 school year, it is still important to submit a Free and Reduced Meal application. Completing an application takes less than 10 minutes and application information remains private and confidential. Only one application per household is needed. Filling out the school meal application may help provide:

  • State and Federal Funding for School Budgets
  • Free/Reduced meal 30 day rollover for the next school year
  • P-EBT Eligibility

A Free and Reduced Price Meal Application can be downloaded from the district's Lunch Program website under the "Resources" section.

Miller Creek School District makes nutritious and tasty lunches available to all our students at Lucas Valley, Mary Silveira, Vallecito and Miller Creek. This year we will continue with our lunch vendor, The LunchMaster. The LunchMaster has been in business since 1994 and serves many local schools in San Mateo County and the Bay Area. This vendor offers many menu options and more flexibility in ordering. With each entrée students receive a selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, and milk to complete a well-balanced meal.

Orders will need to be placed by parents through their website or application, The LunchMaster. By Tuesday, August 17th, please login and update or create your LunchMaster account. Use your student’s school code to register for an account. Place your order for Thursday, August 19th, no later than Wednesday, August 18th, by 10 am. For every day after that, orders need to be placed no later than the day before by 10 am.
