Lunch Program

For the 2020/21 school year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released nine Summer Meal Program Waiver Extensions that allow schools to use the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) instead of the National School Lunch Program. These waivers are in response to the nationwide COVID-19 pandemic.

These waivers make any student under the age of 18 eligible for lunch at no cost.  You do not need to be eligible for Free or Reduced lunch to receive lunch.  Please take advantage of this generous offer from the California Department of Education by ordering a lunch for your student.

The Miller Creek School District makes available nutritious and tasty lunches to all our students at Lucas Valley, Mary Silveira, Vallecito and Miller Creek. This year we will continue with our lunch vendor, The Lunch Master. This vendor offers many menu options and more flexibility in ordering. With each entrée students receive a selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, and milk to complete a well-balanced meal.

DEADLINES: Beginning Monday, April 12, 2021, Lunch Meal Kits will be offered to distance learning students to be picked up at their school of choice.  Grab'n'Go lunches can be ordered for in person instruction students to be distributed on site.  Orders will need to be placed by parents through the LunchMaster website.  By March 31, 2021, please login and update or create your LunchMaster account, the website.  For distance learning students, use the school code for the school you want to pick up your Meal Kit at. For in person instruction students, use your student’s school code to register for an account:

Lucas Valley use code: lucasvalley
Mary Silveira use code: millercreekmary
Vallecito use code: millercreekvallecito
Miller Creek use code: millercreekmiddle

Place your order for Monday, April 12th, distribution or pickup no later than Thursday, April 8th, by 10 am.  For every week after that, orders need to be placed no later than Thursday of the preceding week by 10 am.  For distance learning students, Meal Kits will be distributed every Monday at the school you selected between 12 pm and 1pm.
